Travelling has been a major inspiration for my paintings. Being attracted by the colours of the South, the light and vegetation I have spend time in the South of France, but it was only when I travelled to India that I found true inspiration for my work. I have always returned from my travels with a wealth of images, photographs and curiosities, using them as a springboard to achieve a communication through painting, creating a state of wonder and joy beyond the immediate, not bound by anyone place or time.
